Salina Gomez

My name is Salina, and I recently joined the team at Dogwood! I can say without a doubt that the team has made me feel welcome and valued! I have two cats, Kitty and Nebby, and I have 9 chickens. (They have names as well because why not?) In my free time I like to crochet and paint to have some fun. I have a love of fostering pets as well, and being able to work in veterinary medicine has afforded me that
option multiple times. Everyday I come to work because I get to help clients with their concerns and help them navigate through that. I also love being around the pets themselves and helping them to feel better about their appointment. My love for animals started at a young age when I wanted to be a “vegetarian” (I couldn’t say veterinarian at that time), and it has only grown from there!
