Gaby Blanco

My name is Gabriella (Gaby) Blanco and I am a technician here at Dogwood. After 7-8 years working in this field, I can say without a doubt that I love helping the animals. From day-to-day wellness to emergency. What I miss after working ER is developing that relationship with clients. I enjoy teaching clients about what we actually do. I chose Dogwood because I felt instantly welcomed. Although the work is familiar, I recognize that there is still so much to learn. I am baffled by how well everyone works with one another and how smoothly it runs, despite the amount of work and how busy it is. I enjoy spending time outdoors enjoying nature. I have recently gotten into mountain biking and love attempting new technicals such as skinnies, downhills, and jumps. However, I also love running, hiking, and kayaking. I have an 8-year-old pit mix named Cody, who also enjoys going on adventures. He often goes running and mountain biking with me. I also have a 4-year-old, three legged DSH named Binx. He entered my life when he was five weeks old after being hit by a car and we amputated his left hind leg.
