I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia in 2010, and I’ve been passionate about providing thoughtful, high-quality care ever since. Over the years, I’ve developed special professional interests in preventive medicine, senior pet care, and end-of-life support. I believe these areas are some of the most meaningful parts of veterinary medicine, as they allow me to help pets live longer, more comfortable lives and to support families through every stage of their pet’s journey.
What motivates me most as a veterinarian is improving quality of life—for pets at home and in the clinic. Whether I’m helping manage a chronic condition, guiding a family through preventive care, or ensuring comfort during end-of-life care, my goal is always to prioritize the well-being of both the patient and their family.
I truly enjoy the variety that general practice brings. Every day offers new cases and new opportunities for problem-solving. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is building long-term relationships with pets and their owners and being a trusted partner in their care through the years.
My approach to medicine emphasizes prevention whenever possible, along with low-stress, fear-free handling techniques to make visits easier on our patients. Pain management—both acute and chronic—is also a top priority for me, because comfort is such an essential part of overall health.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy riding horses competitively and traveling whenever I can. These passions keep me energized and balanced so I can bring my best self to my patients each day.
